PJ - Mee Rebus
This place is just located near the Taman Bahagia LRT stations, behind the Perodua showroom in Jalan SS2/1. There are quite a number of food stalls located here at night, but the one you will want to try is the stall which sells mee rebus and it only opens at 8pm. You can't miss it because there is always a long queue here.
According to a friend of mine from Sg. Petani in Kedah, the stall originated from that area as well, serving food the Kedah Chinese way. The mee rebus as well as laksa are served on plates. Plus they have a variety of kuih which are unique to the Chinese up north which is very true cause I can't find them elsewhere. They also serve a few types of chinese tong shui as dessert.
Many thanks to Sky who buy me the good food generously that night :). I had the mee rebus, which some chai kuih and this glutinous rice kuih which have peanuts in them (cannot remember the name).
The mee rebus is light, not too heavy yet just nice with a squeeze of lime. The kuih are good too but I still miss the home made one my friend's mum used to make.
There are a few other stalls in the same place to try, the porridge stall have a lot of other varieties and some mamak stalls too. Check it out ;)
