North Peninsula Malaysia Makan Trip

Its been a 10 years long talk and finally, I am initiating it! A round Peninsula Malaysia trip! Ermm... well, started that way anyway, then we realized we are no longer students, we can't get long leave easily, so the round Peninsula Malaysia trip become Northern Peninsula Malaysia trip... then now, we have flood in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang! But being gung-ho determined people that we are, we are going ahead it, but cutting it short. So technically, its a Half Northern Peninsula Malaysia trip now... haha... sad...

Anyhow, we will be departing later this morning when everyone gets up and head to Kampar for some local yummies, then Batu Gajah for interesting things like Assam Laksa Pan Mee. Then moving on to Taiping, the food heaven, then Butterworth, Alor Setar, Perlis and ending up in Gerik. We want to use the east west highway and pass Temenggor Lake for those magnificent view we heard about then turn down to Gua Musang before spending the last stop in Cameron Highlands and back to KL!

We have a whole big list of yummies we want to try, so be sure to stay tune to this blog as I will try to update it as our trip progress. The trip starts today, 20th to 24th December. We have 3 cars, and 11 people in the team now, so I am slowly starting to feel excited :P. The truck is serviced, rotated the tyres today, all set for this journey of about 1500 km.
