Jln Ipoh, KL - Restoran Million

Don't worry it doesn't cost a million to eat here, but prices are not cheap, KL rate! This place is just opposite the Mobil station at the junction in between Segambut and Jalan Ipoh. Parking is havoc but weekends are better.

Famous for their porridge, you can get all sorts here, fish (tau tai, sek pan) or frog legs are famous. I ordered the frog legs porridge and their fried mee suah which I find it to be very unique, top up with fried sotong (calamari).

Porridge is good, the frog legs are very fresh and tender, yummy but a bit costly! The fried mee suah is the thick type, fried dried with a lot of topping on top fried eggs, peanuts, calamari, pork and veges. Taste good and only complain portion not big enough for 2 persons.

The fried sotong here is fantastic, with a hint of curry flavour and crispy. Good place to eat, will be backed!

Jln Ipoh - Yong Tau Foo

This is a yong tau foo place near the Segambut-Jln Ipoh junction in KL, its been around for quite a long time used to be on the otherside of the road. Its just next to the overhead highway coming from Jalan Duta.

These place start crowding after 12.30pm and its parking will be packed then. I prefer to sit inside the restaurant as it has fan, the porch seems to be hot. Besides the usual yong tau foo, they also have a good rojak stall. Price is standard KL rate and there are a variety of other stuff besides yong tau foo like paper wrap chicken, etc.
